16th Annual Wheeling for Healing Family Bike Ride
Thank you to all who supported Community Memorial Foundation’s 16th annual Wheeling for Healing bike ride on Saturday, August 10. Over 1,000 cyclists hit the road in support of the Cancer Care Center. Riders of all ages gathered early at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Community Memorial Hospital to pedal the 4-mile, 15-mile, 32-mile and 62-mile routes. Upon returning to the hospital, riders enjoyed brunch, raffles, music, children’s activities and more.
An estimated $36,000 was raised for the Cancer Care Center. Thank you to the event’s planning committee, sponsors, participants, volunteers, and community support staff, including the Menomonee Falls and Germantown Police Departments. Special thanks to Presenting Sponsor Siemens and to WISN 12’s Craig McKee for serving as this year’s ride marshal.
